General Information

The institute offers Dutch courses for foreigners on a regular basis. These courses aim to provide students with language skills in Dutch, which they can use in everyday life. Therefore you will spend most of your time practising the language in order to communicate with Dutch language speakers.

Assessment, testing and certification

Classwork and homework will be marked and evaluated throughout the course and a test will be held at the end of each course. Your marks and your test results will help the teacher decide whether you should go to the next level or whether you need further practice at your present level. End of course certificates will be given to all students. These do NOT have, however, any official value in the Netherlands.

Language of Instruction

The lessons are taught in English, NOT Arabic, so a good command of spoken and written English is required in order to enter the course. The Institute may refuse enrollment to a student with insufficient command of English.

Fees

Registration fees are 750 LE, this amount includes all required materials. Payment in full is required at the time of registration. The number of levels depends on the demand. The minimum number of students per course is 8, the maximum number is 15. If the minimum number of 8 students has not been reached, fees will be refunded to the students.

Term dates and schedule

The courses total 40 hours, spread over 10 weeks, including the final examination. The instructor will decide on any rescheduling of classes when national or religious holidays occur during the course. We try to offer 3 courses per year: September - January, January - April, April - June. There are no courses during the summer months July and August.
