Registration
The NVIC tries to offer 3 Dutch courses per year: September - January, January - April, April - June. There are no courses during the summer months July and August. Registration dates and schedules are announced in time on this website.
Term dates and schedule
The courses total 20 lessons, each lesson is 2 hours (40 hours), spread over 10 weeks.
Assessment, testing and certification
Class work and homework will be marked and evaluated throughout the course and a test will be held at the end of each course. Your marks and your test results will help the teacher to decide whether you should go to the next level or whether you need further practice at your present level. End of course certificates will be given to all students. These do NOT have, however, any official value in the Netherlands.
Language of Instruction
The courses will be taught using English, NOT Arabic.
A good command of spoken and written English is therefore required.
Fees
The fees for this course: £E 750.00 (includes all required materials).
Payment in full is required at the time of registration.
This April we will offer:
Beginners (Level 1), Level 2 and Level 3
The minimum number of students for each course is 8, maximum number 15. If the minimum number of 8 students has not been reached, fees will be refunded to the students.
Classes are on Mondays & Wednesdays from 3 - 5 p.m. or 6 - 8 p.m. (Class times/days may vary, depending on the number of students)
Registration: Wednesday, 10 April 2013 from 10 am to 12 pm
Please bring one picture and the course fees on the day of registration.
First lesson: Monday, 15 April 2013
Last lesson and Final Exam: Wednesday, 26 June 2013
Holidays: Wednesday, 1 May 2013 (Labour Day), Monday, 6 May (Sham el Nessim)
